ABOUT JK HORSEMANSHIP

Jk Horsemanship is a boutique styled small business developed in August 2024. I established this business after years of experience in the horse industry, starting from an early age completing my Natural horsemanship level 1 as a child which then led me to continue growing my experience through different trainers. I furthered my skills as a hobby to a career, starting with horse rehabilitation later moving into the thoroughbred racing industry. After living my life with horses through hobbies as well as work, it was obvious to me that there were a lot of gaps when it came to horsemanship foundations and this is where my passion began.

I decided to follow my passion and create "JK Horsemanship" to show others the trust, connection and accomplishment people can make with their horses with the correct horsemanship fundamentals. I focus a lot on groundwork, working from the ground up with horse and human to establish a better relationship leading to more confidence on the ground and in the saddle. I have years of experience working and rehoming Standardbreds who have shown to be a versatile, upstanding breed. The purpose of this business to help those who need direction, find one and to ensure safe boundaries between horse and human.
